One of two small one-channel benchtop Hewlett Packard HP 6850 gas-chromatographs, equipped by FID detector, split/splitless inlet, automatic injector and chiral column, is used for chiral analyses of volatile organic compounds and their mixtures (R. Hanus Group). The second one, with a standard column, is used for routine GC analyses of synthtetic products (U. Jahn Group).
