Abstract

Design and synthesis of dNTPs bearing different functional groups and polymerase synthesis of hypermodified DNA oligonucleotides containing 3-4 modified nucleotides. Automated SELEX for the selection of aptamers using a combination of modified nucleotides and selection of hypermodified aptamers against diverse targets (e.g. insulin and leptin) and application of the developed sensors for detecting biomarkers.

Universities

PhD students must be enrolled in a partner university and will be employed by the IOCB Prague at the same time (part-time or full time), which results in a competitive salary (a scholarship from the university + a salary from the IOCB).
