On 21–22 November 2019, the Molecular Rotor Workshop 2019 took place at IOCB Prague, a meeting dedicated to fundamental research in the field of molecular rotors, motors, and switches, with special focus on their 2-D and 3-D assemblies.

The workshop took place for the first time in 2017 and this year it was the second occasion, which attracted some of the best chemists and physicists working in the field, including Josef Michl or Nobel laureates Sir Fraser Stoddart and Ben Feringa.

The workshop was organized by Jiří Kaleta of IOCB Prague and consisted of 14 plenary lectures on experimental and theoretical contributions from organic, supramolecular, physical, and theoretical chemistry and physics.
